At least 22 People Killed During Massacre at Monastery in Myanmar

Something like 22 individuals, including three priests, were killed at a Buddhist religious community in Myanmar.

As per CNN, 22 bodies were recuperated at a projectile ridden cloister in the eastern Myanmar town of Nam Nain in the country’s southern Shan State on Saturday.

CNN reports that the country’s military-supported junta and neighborhood equipped opposition bunches are both faulting the other for the assault. “The priest called me at 8 a.m. on Saturday,” the man said, per the power source. “He said ‘They are going into the town. I can hear the hints of discharges and big guns,’ and he abruptly hung up the telephone.” An anonymous head of the Karenni says he saw around 100 soldiers burning homes and releasing a blast of shots on the town, per ABC News.
